Måneskin (Italian: [ˈmɔːneskin, ˈmaː-], Danish: [ˈmɔːnəˌske̝nˀ]; Danish for moonlight ) are an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The band is composed of singer Damiano David, bassist Victoria de Angelis, guitar player Thomas Raggi, as well as drummer Ethan Torchio. Doing in the roads in their very early days, they climbed to importance after ending up 2nd in the l lth period of the Italian ability show X Consider 2017. Their global innovation followed when the foursome won the Eurovision Tune Competition 2021 for Italy with the track Zitti e buoni . The band have launched two studio albums Il ballo della vita (2018) and Teatro d ira: Vol. I (2021 ), one extended-play, and nine singles, which have covered the Italian as well as European music charts.
