Phil Spencer talks about the decision to have delayed Starfield
Next year seems to be very promising for Xbox, since they prepare two strong cards, with this we clearly talk about Red fall as well as Star field, both titles created by Bethesda studies. And while we could have had them since before, the decision to delay them was reached due to a reason that can be much more than justifiable.
In a certain interview with The Verge media, Phil Spencer talked about the hard decision to delay for many months the video game of space that seems to have a lot of potential. Mentioning that a hurried game can have a negative destination, so being Star field one of Bethesda's first exclusive, they wanted things to go well.
This is what he mentioned:
We have experience in sending games too soon. But in retrospect, when you look at a game like Star field, which took so long and so much investment in new IP by the team. The decision to give them time to build a game they feel should be building is just what you have to do.
With Star field and Red fall, two large Xbox games with Animal. I just wanted to make sure that those who entered felt that they had the support they could obtain from Xbox. They may feel that some benefits of being part of a larger organization that has other sources of income and other things that could be useful.
For now, it is only mentioned that Star field will arrive at some point in 2023. In the first half.

Editor's note: These delays are not at all new in the industry, it has already happened at the time with Cyberpunk 2022, which I still need more time and the result was the most negative.
